Since 1989, the TTG Travel Awards have honored the top performers in the travel sector in Asia-Pacific. Travel Supplier, Travel Agency, Outstanding Achievement, and Travel Hall of Fame are the four categories in which this esteemed yearly event honors outstanding companies and individuals. With the help of TTG associations, TTG-BTmice China, TTG India, TTG China, TTG-mice, TTG associations, and TTG Asia Luxury, TTG Asia is proudly organizing this TTG Travel Trade Publishing event.
Since 1989, TTG Asia has organized the annual TTG Travel Awards every year, with the exception of 2003 due to the SARS outbreak and 2020–2021 due to COVID-19.
Both the number of prizes given out annually and the participation of the industry have increased dramatically since the awards' inception. The Awards honored just ten winners in 1989; today, approximately eighty winners in four categories—two voting, one non-voting, and one honorary—are recognized.
The TTG Travel Awards are currently thought to be the most sought-after and significant honors in the travel industry in the area.
The awards are a genuinely star-studded affair because some of the most well-known figures in the business attend the ceremony and gala dinner each year. Additionally, various international media who cover and publicize the event outside of the region attend the gala.
Asia Pacific's Travel Industry Excellence is Defined by Your Vote
Readers of TTG Asia, TTGmice, TTG China, TTG India, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations, and TTG Asia Luxury are among the industry professionals who are invited to nominate their favorite travel suppliers in the region who have excelled above the competition and exceeded expectations. The annual search for Asia Pacific's most exceptional travel organizations usually takes place over two months, from April to June.
Travel Supplier Awards and Travel Agency Awards are the two voting categories.
Only votes cast by travel advisors, tour operators, and destination management firms are considered for the Travel Supplier Awards.
Only votes cast by travel industry professionals—aside from travel consultants, tour operators, and destination management companies—at hotels, airlines, car rental companies, cruise operators, national tourism organizations, GDS companies, and other travel-related businesses count toward the Travel Agency Awards final result.
Each and every TTG Travel Award winner, with the support of their industry peers, embodies the best standards of the travel industry in the region.
